Now that the 2014 Sochi Winter Olypmics are coming to a close, here is a look back at some of the top moments captured on social media:
1) #SochiFail. Prior to the start of the Olympics, journalists took to social media to voice their complaints over the sub-par living accommodations. This tweet from the Chicago Tribune’s Stacy St. Clair was one of the most infamous:

2) #SochiJailBreak. Bobsledder Johnny Quinn from the United States used his “push training” to escape from a locked hotel bathroom and generated nearly 30,000 re-tweets:

3) The Girl Who Tweeted “Wolf”. U.S. Olympic luger Kate Hansen caused a stir when she tweeted a video of a wolf walking the hall in her hotel.

4) The Fifth Olympic Ring. Kudos to Russia for having a sense of humor. After an Olympic ring failed to light during the opening ceremony, they poked a little fun with the gaffe during the closing ceremony:
