A 1,200 square foot Social Media Communications Center has opened in Manhattan to serve as a digital concierge for the Super Bowl, Bloomberg.com reports.
Fans are encouraged to use social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook for updates to weather, transit, security, entertainment and events leading up to the Super Bowl being held on February 2.
The National Football League has more than 5.7 million followers on Twitter and more than 9.1 million likes on Facebook.
