#1 Mississippi State Bulldogs (8-0): Looking less and less dominant each week, but it’s them or the Noles.
#2 Florida State Seminoles (8-0): Slipping away against okay teams is a warning, but at least they know how to win.
#3 TCU Horned Frogs (7-1): TCU is excellent all-around and is looking to be the best Big 12 team right now.
#4 Auburn Tigers (7-1): It’s debatable that Auburn should have lost at Kansas State and at Ole Miss, but those are still good teams and like last season, they are finding ways to win to remain at the top.
#5 Alabama Crimson Tide (7-1): Auburn and Alabama are both looking good, giving us hope for another promising Iron Bowl. The Crimson Tide are getting into the hang of things and seem to be able to have what it takes to beat Mississippi State.

    3. Auburn
    4. Oregon
    5. TCU

3-5 are just a toss-up at this point. Alabama, Michigan State, Kansas State…too many 1-loss teams to choose from.
